There are IRC chat networks, these are internatioal and in each network there are channels, just as with the 'usenet' there are groups. I usually am on the 'internet', or the 'undernet'. internet servers: irc.colorado.edu irc.eskimo.com undernet servers: washington.dc.us.undernet.org austin.tx.us.undernet.org You will need an interface, I do not know what shell users do, my provider has IRC service, but i use my own software at home. (I like mIRC 3.4) The details of starting IRC will be different for everyone, but once you are there.. type: /join #kites oh well... I don't really understand it myself carl (aka: chucko or chuck_o) ___________________________________________________ email: crowell@kite.com FTP: ftp.teleport.com/pub/users/crowell WWW: http://www.teleport.com/~crowell Kites By Carl Crowell - O.S.F.M.
