If you want to play the enchanter trilogy, you'll need LTOI 1.
If you want to play Trinity or A mind forever voyaging, you'll need
LTOI 2 :-/

Here's a list of the games in LTOI 1:

	Zork Lurking Horror
	Zork II Ballyhoo
	Zork III Infidel
	Beyond Zork Moonmist
	Enchanter Starcross
	Sorcerer Suspended
	Spellbreaker Planetfall
	Deadline Stationfall
Witness Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy
	Suspect Zork Zero

The rest of them are in LTOI 2 :-)

Recommendations? Well, I played the Zork trilogy many years ago, and have
always considered them great puzzle-solving games. The enchanter trilogy
seems to follow on with that tradition...so far I've only played enchanter,
but though it was quite good. Planetfall was too short in my opinion, but many
consider it a classic. Suspended is one of my favorites--a very different
kind of IF. And Hitch Hiker's will always remain in my mind as the funniest
IF game I've ever played :-)
If you've got the money, buy both packages...that'll solve your problem ;-)
