I was also somewhat displeased that Activision omitted the hint books from
Lost Treasures of Infocom volume 2, was a bit miffed that they wanted $10 for
Leather Goddesses of Phobos, and was really angry when they released
the CD version with three of the five games not available in either diskette
Lost Treasures package (since I'd already bought the diskette version).
However, I recently mailed $10 and one of my LTOI2 floppies to Activision,
and within a few days a *complete* copy of LTOI2 on CD-rom (albeit sans box)
arrived in my mailbox, even including my floppy. I still think changing the
contents when they went to CD-rom was pretty stupid, but they've more than
made up for it with this upgrade. Thank you, Activision.
