I too was greviously dissapointed by LTOI V2. I was not dissapointed by the
games, but by the lack of additional information that was included with V1.
This is a really cheap shot by Activision, making us pay for hints to the
games. And considering the bundled price of the package, divided by the number
of games, one could actually spend more money on hints then they did for the
game!! I wrote a letter to Activision saying just this the moment I purchased
the game, and received no reply. COWARDS!!! It is sad. Especially when one
considers that the hint books and map were not just "Do this at point A, but
only if you've been to point B first." The books and maps were often as
interesting as the games themselves. In the old days, I would often purchase
the hint book even after I completed the game without hints, just to get the
additional experience. Shame to Activision, and if they ever pull a stunt like
this again, my printer will never stop.
