No specific puzzle...I just wanted to know the rest of the game.  I got past
statue, snake, and (when I was really lucky) gargoyle, but I never got past
the rug with spikes beneath, and I couldn't find anywhere else to go.

I was quite young when I played this game, and those words (in fact, the
rest of the game) chilled me no end.  I even had a nightmare about the game
at one point.  :)

Did you get any farther than me, I wonder?
