Greetings and Salutations!

Don't be disappointed with Deadline, I think it to be one of Infocom's
finest, and certainly the best work of Marc Blank. Yes, it does have a very
early parser, so it can give those anoying responses, but don't fault it for
that. After all, it came out with Infocom's first batch of software (all in
all, about their first ten games). And before long, I promise that you will
forget all about the simple parser, and become entranced within the game. It
is really that great. Have fun, don't burn away too many of the ol' gray
cells, and keep Duffy busy.
