I looked around with archie a bit and found two versions. Imagine, they're 
in the archive now! :-)

shells/advsh.tar.Z      is C source code by John Coker
shells/advshell.shar.Z  is a Bourne Shell script by Doug Gwyn, ca Feb. 1984

The two versions seem to be rather different, judging from the descriptions.
