I found a posting somewhere not so long ago that said that you could convert
your Commodore 64 Infocom games into a .dat file that could be used on other
machines. I got the c64.to.dat file that was on ftp.gmd.de and compiled
it... everything look wonderful. Then it came to running it. It looked for a
file on my hard drive instead of trying to read the floppy disk. Yes, I did
think that it would be a miracle if my pc could read the c64 disk, but I do
believe in miracles. :) So... how exactly do I get this done? Is there some
other program that I have to use to create a file from my c64 disk and then
use this, or am I not using this c64todat properly? Hoping someone can
help... :) Thanks.
