I'll second Neil's request. Maybe the folks at ftp.gmd.de could somehow
find a way to (a) compile the C source for IBM and Mac and then (b) upload
the compiled files to ftp.gmd.de in a (c) BINHEX (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) format.

A lot to ask, no doubt, but there's got to be some kind souls out there
able to do the conversion?!?! (please?)
