The problem is that the window is too big for a standard mac screen, as
you probably guessed. I gather that Michael J. Roberts has already 
fixed this bug, but, in the meantime, the work around is pretty simple.
Just drag the compiler window by the title bar as far as you
can. You'll see the top of two buttons on the bottom of the screen.
The left hand button is "Cancel"; the right hand one is "Compile."

Of course, the initial version of TADS 2.0 crashes on Macintosh
SE's, so you might have a new problem on your hand. Again, I gather
that Michael Roberts has fixed the problem; you can download the new
version from the High Energy BBS, or you can write to him and request
them to send you an update.
