Is there a newer version of the infocom interpreter around that I could
get a hold of? I just found OLD versions of Zork I,II,III and Trinity,
but the interpreter is very old. It is the version that restarts the
system after every quit. I am hoping to remove the old interpreter
and attach a newer one. What will this take? Will it cost? I am pretty
much a novice to heavy programming, so a detailed account of what this
might take would be appreciated. That is, of course, if it is possible
at all!

To give you an idea of how old these versions are; the last time the
Zorks were modified was 1984, and 1986 for Trinity.

WHOOPS... change the ZIL in the header to ZIP.

thanks to anyone who can help,
