I know you have probably heard this question before. I
am trying to put the minix kernel on a floppy and
possibly some simple programs like the shell, ls, vi, the
basics. Basically I would like to put all of the minix
kernel on the floppy if possible and run from the
floppy. Basically how would I do this? Do I have to
consider the fs and the mm. I know I loaded minix with
30-40 MBs of space, most of that is only user
programs, I know I could drop that to 1mb.

Has anybody got any info for me?
I want to see if I can run minix from school without
using nt, blah..cough cough...

oh yeah, wouldn't it be cool if someone(SUN) could add
some java functionality for minix.
