I'm considering installing Minix (which I followed infrequently from about
'87) on an 'old' laptop (486DX4, 100Mhz, 32Mb RAM, 720 MB HD, 640x480 TFT,
HDD FD, 14k4 PCMCIA modem).

Only... this laptop (a Compaq Contura 430) has obviously been designed
with Windows in mind, as there is no OFF (or reset) switch (Ok, there
is _a_ switch, but:) instead expecting the OS to use -probably- APM to
turn the laptop off.

Does 2.0.2 APM support in the monitor, or has someone found a solution
for this yet ?
