Hi,
I'm trying to get my Minix box on to the network using an SMC 8013
card. When I boot the machine though, I get continuos messages about
the chip having a dead heartbeat. I've tried several of these cards
with the same results each time. I've tried both "hard" jumper set-
tings and set the environment variable to match each time... same
results. Is there a setting I might be missing, or are all 3 of the
cards I've tried likely bad (I don't have another machine at work to
test them in)? If it is the card, can someone please tell me where
I can purchase a NIC that will work? One other thing... is there a
DHCP client available for Minix? Thanks for any info.
