I've followed all relevant instructions, but haven't been able to get my new
minix box connected to my LAN. I'm using 3Com NICs, on IRQ 10, IO 320.
I've recompiled my kernel with:

#define NR_RPOCS		64
#define ENABLE_NETWORKING	1
#define NR_PTYS			8

I've modified my boot parameters with:
hd1a> dpeth0=10:320

However, it isn't recognized on boot-up, and both hub and NIC connection
LEDs remain off. I've tried this with a number of different cards (all
3Com). IRQ's and I/O's do not conflict with anything on the machine; the
same card works under OpenBSD with the same IRQ and I/O address.

Network daemons and services are started on bootup, and run okay for local
connections.
Any tips or suggestions are appreciated: Are 3Com cards supported in
Minix? Should I pull a generic NE2000 NIC out of another system to give it
a try?

I'm currently unable to connect to minix1.hampshire.edu (server down?), so
I'll apologize in advance if this is covered in a FAQ (but I did try).
