It's not my primary goal and I can live without it, but I had considered
trying to tie the XT into the Internet via a PPP connection. The idea of
using native Unix tools is appealing, if only so I can brag to friends. Would
this bring it to a screeching halt, or make it needlessly slow when not
connected?
