OBJECT CONTROL MODIFY VOLUME DATA PROPERTIES

Segmentation Type:  The segmentation type may be set to either IsoSurface or
Opacity Array (Scalar).  An IsoSurface segmentation type will produce an image
of a surface contained within the data, while an Opacity Array (Scalar)
segmentation type will produce a volumetric representation of the data.

ISOSURFACE PROPERTIES:

Isovalue:  Set the value to be used for the surface.  

OPACITY ARRAY (SCALAR) PROPERTIES:

Max Opacity:  The Y axis of the drawing area ranges from 0 to this value for
opacity.

Edit Function:  Specify the function to be modified in the drawing area.  If 
the color type is Single Color, then the R, G, and B options are not avaiable.
If the color type is Color Array, then you can edit the color array transfer
functions in this window also.  Any changes made here will be reflected in the
Object Control Modify Volume Color window, and vice versa.

X Location:  Displays the current x location of the cursor.

Y Location:  Displays the current y location of the cursor.  The location
will be shown in terms of Opacity (which ranges from 0 to Max Opacity) and,
if the color type is Color Array, will be shown in terms of Color, which ranges
from 0 to 1.

Opacity:  Displays the opacity at the current x location of the cursor.

R:  If the color type is Color Array, displays the red value at the current x
location of the cursor.

G:  If the color type is Color Array, displays the green value at the current x
location of the cursor.

B:  If the color type is Color Array, displays the blue value at the current x
location of the cursor.

Drawing Area:  Modify the function specified by Edit Function by holding down
the left mouse button in the drawing area, and drawing the new curve with the
cursor.  Release the mouse button to stop editing.  A grey-scale bar along the
bottom of the drawing area is used to display the opacity curve as a grey-scale
color map.  If the color type is Color Array, then the color map for the
Color Array is also displayed at the bottom of the drawing area.

PROPERTIES/BUTTON FOR ALL SEGMENTATION TYPES:

PARC Subdivision Level:  Specify the level of subdivision used to generate the
polygon approximation used in the Navigator Projection window, and for PARC
projections.  If the Segmentation Type is set to Opacity Array (Scalar), then
this level will be set to 0 (only a bounding box is used for an approximation)
and cannot be modified. 

X Slices:  Open the X Slices window.

Y Slices:  Open the Y Slices window.

Z Slices:  Open the Z Slices window.

Accept:  Accept the current values for the segmentation properties and the PARC
subdivision level.

Cancel:  Cancel, and restore the previous segmentation properties and PARC 
subdivision level.

Close:  Close the Modify Volume Data window.
