Tess is a simple demonstration of the symmetries of the 17 wallpaper
groups. You load in a TIFF and choose a group and a region to use as a
generator. Tess then makes a tesselation using that generator and
allows you to print or save the new image.

Please send bug reports or suggestions to chari@math.utexas.edu.

COMING SOON: Tile, a generalization of Tess
including:

 - resizable and rotatable generator
 - more graphics input formats
 - Tesselations on a Poincare disk
 - Tilings (Pemrose & Conway)
 - 3D tilings using the NeXT 3DKit
 - Support for copy & paste and the exporting of a template for
   sketching your own generator.
 - More help and online information about the groups. For example, I
plan to change the group selector to be a scrolling view which
contains pictures of the lattice unit with sliders to set scaling for
each one the user will simply scroll and click on the one they want.
