     PLOT SUBFORM

The "Plot" subform allows the user to create and display a
3D plot with any of the various input formats. In addition,
the "Plot" forms may be used to set the I/O environment, and
perform transformations on the data. Only when you have at
least one plot created and displayed in the graphics
workspace as desired, should you exit from the "Plot" sub-
form and go on to select "Options", "Overlays", or "Output".

On the left side of the "Plot" subform is a guide pane with
four guide buttons, labeled "Input File", "Input Function",
"Transforms", "Environment". Each button will bring up the
corresponding pane when selected. The following description
summarizes the various functions of the guide pane.

Input File allows the user to input plot informa-
tion from an ascii or raw file, or from
                         an Image file.

Input Function allows the user to define a function to
                         be plotted.

Transforms provides the user with a method to
rotate, scale, or translate plot data.

Environment provides a way for the user to set the
                         global input and output directories.
