The user has the option of selecting which image data band or
image location band
to plot on a different axis. That is plot bands allows one to plot image data
band 1 against image data band 2 against image data band 3
(data band 1 are the x values, while data
band 2 are the y values, and data band 3 are the z values).
A couple of the possible operations include:
.IP "Interchanging Bands"
To change the band of an axis, first
select the axes that you would like to change the band for and select
"CHANGE PLOT DIMENSIONS". A list widget will
be displayed, listing the possible bands that you may choose from. Select the
desired band by clicking on the selection with the mouse. The plot will be
re-displayed with the specified band(s) displayed on the new axes.
.IP "Changing a band to a constant value"
First, select the axis that is to be set to a constant value.
Fill in the desired constant in the 'Constant Data Value' parameter box.
Click on the "CHANGE PLOT DIMENSIONS" action button, and select the 'constant'
item of the list widget. The band of that axis will be set to the
constant value specified in the 'Constant Data Value' parameter
box.
