     RESCALE

When the toggle button for "rescale" is selected, the user
can change the default settings for the minimum and maximum
of the X, Y, and Z axes. By changing the settings the user
can rescale the displayed plot. Note that the data is not
changed, but the way the plot is presented in the graphics
     workspace is changed.

Min and Max values for the plot window
The user may specify the minimum and maximum values for
the X, Y, and Z axes. After the desired values are
entered in the appropriate boxes, clicking on the
action button, "CHANGE MAX MIN" will redraw the plot
according to the specified minimum and maximum values.
This may be useful when the user would like to size the
plot in a particular way. If the window specified is
too small for all plots in the window, plots may over-
write the axes. In any case, clicking on "RESET AXES"
          will restore the default window.

     Major and Minor Tic Marks
Specify the major interval between large tics by fil-
ling in the X, Y, and Z values under "Major Interval".
One large tic mark will be drawn after every "Major
Interval" interval size. The number of minor tics may
be indicated here as well, by filling in the numbers
under "Number of Minor Tics". Note that "Number of
Minor Tics" refers to the number of minor tics BETWEEN
each two major tics. Initiate changes by clicking on
          "CHANGE INTERVAL".
