The "Plot" subform allows the user to create and display a 2D plot with 
any of the various input formats. In addition, the "Plot" forms may be used 
to set the I/O environment, and perform transformations on the data. Only 
when you have at least one plot created and displayed in the graphics 
workspace as desired, should you exit from the "Plot" subform and go on to 
select "Options", "Overlays", or "Output".

On the left side of the "Plot" subform is a guide pane with five 
guide buttons, labeled "Input File", "Input Function", "Transforms", 
"Environment", and "Attributes".  Each button will bring up the corresponding 
pane when selected.  The following description summarizes the various 
functions of the guide pane.
