     AUTO SCALE

When the toggle button for "auto scale" is "ON", the axes
labeling will be "nice". That is if the user changes the Min
or Max values, then the interval is updated to a "nice"
value. If the Interval is changed then the Min and Max are
updated to a "nice" value. Auto scale is recommended if the
     user desires nice axis labeling.

When the toggle button for "auto scale" is "ON", the axes
Min and Max are set to the Min and Max of the data plotted.
For the first plot the interval is then calculated. After a
plot has been drawn, the Minimum, Maximum and Interval are
independent of each other. That is, if the user changes the
Interval, the Minimum and Maximum will remain unchanged. The
same holds true for the Interval.

When specifing the Interval for a plot, the labels may not
be drawn because there is not enough room to label the axes
without over lapping other labels. To fix this problem, sim-
ply change the Interval to be a larger value. Note, the
minimum and maximum value is always drawn.
