     Input

The Input subform allows to specify an input imagery file,
an input elevation file, or a colormap file.

     1) Khoros image file with data to be used as IMAGERY:
Each time you fills in this input file parameter box
and hit the <cr> key, the new imagery data will be
displayed, draped over the elevation data, when the
elevation data is displayed as either color mesh or as
a surface plot. Remember that you should ONLY use VIFF
images that have the same number of rows and columns as
the elevation data. With multiband images, the first
band is displayed by default. The CHANGE BANDS option
on the "Display Utilities" pull-down menu can be used
to display other bands if desired. Note that if any
new colormap has been previously input (see below), it
will be over-written at this time by the colormap of
          the new input image.

     2) Khoros image file with data to be used as ELEVATION:
Each time you fills in this input file parameter box
and hit the <cr> key, the new elevation data will be
plotted. Remember that you should ONLY use VIFF images
that have the same number of rows and columns as the
imagery data. With multiband images, the first band is
          displayed by default.

     3) Khoros Image File with COLORMAP to be Used:
This feature allows one to assign a different colormap
to the imagery data that is displayed when the color
mesh or surface plot types are used. Each time you
fill in this parameter box and and hit the <cr> key,
the new colormap is installed for the current imagery.
To restore the original colormap, the original viff
file to provide the imagery data must be re-entered in
          this parameter box.

     4) OUTPUT image filename:
If you would like to make a screen dump of the imagery
and elevation data that is currently displayed, enter
the desired filename here and hit <cr>. Wait for a
moment while the output mechanism works. A VIFF image
will be created from the current contents of the
viewimage workspace. A pop-up form will let you know
when the output image has been created.
