     Print Pixels

The "Pixels" subform in editimage allows the user to display
the pixel values of 5 by 5 regions in the main image. The
pixels window consists of three vertically stacked boxes
which correspond to the coordinates of the chosen color sys-
tem. Each of the three boxes contains 25 individual boxes
that display the numeric value for the pixels being exam-
ined, of the color coordinate represented by that box. The
color of the pixel in the main image is a function of all
three of these color coordinate system values.

     Colorspace Models

The Pixels function may use any one of eight color sys-
tems available with editimage: RGB, CMY, HSV, HSL, YIQ,
XYZ, UVW, or GREY. One can change the current
colorspace model that is used with the Pixels function
by clicking on the desired colorspace model. The vert-
ically stacked boxes which correspond to the coordi-
nates of the chosen color system will update immedi-
ately when the colorspace model is changed.

     Update Mode

The Pixels function may be operated in two modes: Con-
tinous or Button Press. When the update mode is Con-
tinuous, the pixel value boxes are continually updated
according to the cursor position in the displayed
image. When the update mode is Button Press, the pixel
value boxes will not update until the mouse is clicked
          within the displayed image.
