     TOOLS: GHOSTREADER

The purpose of ghostreader is to update Program Specifica-
tion File ( PS or *.prog file) so that it is consistent with
the C source code and man pages of an application program
that was originally generated with ghostwriter. The SOURCE
of information for ghostreader is from marked segments of
     the *.c, *.h, l*.c, *.1, and *.3 files. The DESTINATION of
extracted information is the *.prog file, where '*' is the
name of the program in question.

Before clicking on "GHOSTREADER", you must fill out the name
of the program, "Program Name", that you wish to read from.
It must be the same as the "*" on your *.pane and *.prog
files. Do not use a configuration file (*.conf) until you
are very familiar with the ghost routines. Since you are
not using a config file, the install logical should be set
     to "Install in Local Directory".

In most cases, the program has more than just driver code,
though it is possible for your driver to rely on other
existing libraries. So typically, you will have the logi-
cals set to "Library Code" and "Man3 Page" so that these
files are used to update your *.prog.

The success of the "GHOSTREADER" is reported in a pop-up
     help window.
