I don't think the gnus part is relevent here.  Although I'm using b6
(and waiting for b9 <--sb :-), I have seen crashes with all the
20.3b's started with -nw.  Sometimes I can basically just start up
xemacs -nw, then immediately hit C-g and boom.  I did a send-pr and
got the id misc/103, but alas I can't reproduce the problem reliably.
