Ahh.. but that's the crux of the matter. Are there any collisions between
the two? To give you an idea of how backlevel the system in question is,
the GNU flavor running now is 19.19 ;)

I seem to remember discussion of getting gnuclient/etc to co-exist
between the 2 versions, and it actually happening, but can't remember
what release(s) this implies.

Or did I hallucinate that whole thing? ;)

Simple - I install GNU 19.34 and XEmacs 20.2 on the production system and
ignore them, and track 20.3-city on my workstation. ;)

There's no major rush on this, I still need to double-check the build trees
for bash, bison, gcc, libg++, lunx, make, ncftp, perl, and a few other things ;)

Fortunately, I managed to forstall opening the LaTeX/MF/TeX/transfig/xfig/etc
can of worms till NEXT month ;)
