I've had some experience running a web interface to gnats. As cute as
it is, after receiving several hundred bugs, getting any sort of
summary report is atrociously slow. It has to grind through ALL the
reports and pick out relevant information, since gnats itself has only
limited facilities in this regard. We're talking on the order of
minutes.
