It's not right.  But I'm not sure how to go about fixing it, since the 
C code should also somehow check whether a gnuserv is running, so that 
you don't stay without any chance to communicate to your XEmacs.  Or
should we trust the user, and say:

"if XEmacs was started with `-unmapped', you may remove the last
frame, end-of-story."
