There where several warnings during compilation about assignments
discarding CONST. I looked; it's happening inside a macro in
buffer.h, and in another place. It was too complicated for me to fix,
sorry.

There is also a warning in etags about an integer being compared to a
pointer. Does that happen on other OS's too, or is it Linux libc?

It seems to be running fine.
