This is an interesting question even if we *are* on the list! :-)

E.g. Hrvoje just asked about adding customize support to Supercite.
I'm basically for it, but I'm too far along with v4 to do any more
work on Supercite 3 (don't ask me when v4 will be ready, I'm not
sure.  The basic engine works but the U/I sucks right now).

I'd like *some* way to say that the supercite.el in XEmacs is modified
from the original, but it doesn't need to be much.  At a minimum
sc-version should indicate as such.
