| other platforms? If an RPM is basically a .tar.gz with some

| somehow?

I have a xemacs-19.15-i386-unknown-linux.tar.gz and can upload it when
I can connect to ftp.xemacs.org. It's a totally static version.
(btw, is it better to make it i586?)

You can easily convert a .rpm to cpio with 'rpm2cpio', but not to a
.tar file.
