Is it good or bad?  Ah, I see -- you can always enter the buffer, so
it should be good.

Does `custom-menu-create' allow you to have the menubar for yourself,
the way VM and W3 do it in XEmacs.  I quite like that feature, and
wouldn't mind seeing it in Gnus.
