Meanwhile, here is my build Installation information for
xemacs-20.1-b9:

BTW, I was not able to build --with-sound=both even when I specified
--native-sound-lib='/usr/demo/SOUND/lib' as well.

Any obvious err-ing on my part?

Apparently, andreas@sccon.com was able to build for both as follows
(see <199703221819.NAA07658@homer.sccon.com>).
