I have always been wondering, if it wasn't possibly to dynamically
switch over to a private colormap, when the public colormap is
exhausted?  The last time that I checked with my XLib manual, it
looked as if this could be done. Could anybody with more insight into
X programming comment on the feasibility and possible pro's and con's?
