The following message is a courtesy copy of an article
that has been posted to comp.emacs.xemacs as well.

In case anyone hasn't already figured it out already, I've taken over
from Chuck Thompson as lead maintainer of XEmacs.

The other maintainers are Martin Buchholz and Kyle Jones with Bob
Weiner, Chuck, and Ben Wing providing support. MORIOKA Tomohiko and
Jareth Hein are the lead MULE developers.

The user documentation is now maintained by Bob Weiner of Altrasoft
(formerly Infodock). Updates as well as bookstore hardcopy are
forthcoming.

The XEmacs FAQ is now maintained by Andreas Kaempf.

The XEmacs website now has 3 new webmasters. David Masterson, Andrew
Cosgriff, and Marcus Thiessel.

XEmacs 19.15 is scheduled for release next week and perhaps will even
be released on this schedule. :-)

XEmacs beta releases are currently freely available in
	ftp://ftp.xemacs.org/pub/beta/

Beta releases were formerly closed to a select group of people. In
light of the success of Linux it was decided to release the experimental
versions of XEmacs in the same fashion. Please feel free to download
and test beta versions of XEmacs, but being beta versions they are not
expected to work as reliably as a distributed version will. If you
choose to run beta XEmacsen you should definitely join the xemacs-beta
mailing list (see the XEmacs FAQ), where support of beta releases is
active.
