I know this was reported before, but I don't remember if it was
supposed to have been fixed, or if it's a problem with XEmacs or with
gnus ... anyway, my secondary news server was down, and gnus hung
trying to open it, and I couldn't C-g out of it. However, issuing a
kill -INT to the xemacs process unhung it and it continued normally.
