I have very mixed emotions about Motif. It's unfree software and I
feel funny making XEmacs default to using unfree software, and the
defaults in it all rub me the wrong way. On the other hand, a lot of
people seem to like it.

I've also just gotten a hold of the latest incarnation of Xaw3d called
Xaw-XPM and love it (the scrollbars are super-cool). I'd like to see
some people try Xaw-XPM before giving up on free software as a default
on Linux. If Motif is a clear winner, then we can default to it.

--with-xface=yes works, I haven't tried --with-xface=no yet.

For the record:
(I haven't figured out why configure missed png support).
