I have spotted a minor redisplay inefficiency, that has actually
nothing to do with the performance troubles, but is slightly
annoying.

Whenever I invoke other-window in XEmacs Gnus frame (summary), the
frame is redrawn (not cleared and redrawn as with C-l, but I see it
repainted because of synchronization), which is unnecessary. I guess
this might have to do with redrawing the toolbar.

Fortunately, this doesn't happen on tty-s.
