Subject: XIM problem with 20.1-b6 and kinput2 on Linux
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

The following X-Error occurs when XEmacs compiled with
XIM (Motif) support is started, while kinput2 is running:

> xemacs: X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of
> range for operation)
> Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes)
> Value in failed request: 0x3fffe93f
> Serial number of failed request: 268
> Current serial number in output stream: 270

The locale was set to ja_JP.EUC. I'm using Linux 2.0.29,
XFree86 3.2A, Metrolink Motif 2.0, and libc 5.4.7.
XEmacs was compiled with -DX_LOCALE.
Despite the error, XEmacs (and input via kinput2) is
working fine.

Has anyone else observed this problem?
