Custom could really use some balloon help.  It wasn't obvious to me
what to do at first either.  But I'm generally fearless when it
comes to these things and just thumped the buttons until it became
apparent what was going on.

One problem I noticed was that the toggle buttons and the on/off
word description of the state didn't sync with each other.
