Sigh. The archtypical brainless induhvidual strikes
again.

Earlier today I reported a bug with delete-frame. If I
had read the error message closely I would have
discovered that it is behaving exactly as it is
supposed to, although that behavior is different from
what I was used to.

Drop the bug.

Is there a variable that now controls this behavior?
I use a virtual window manager, and sometimes would
like to close down extra frames, when often these
frames are just hanging out idly by themselves in a
screen. But I'd like to be prevented from deleting the
*very* last frame, of course.
