This is xemacs-20.1b3. I usually telnet from home to my machine at
work, startup xemacs running there, because it is better connected.
I'll be looking at some remote directory in dired mode. Then I see a
file I want to copy. I hit 'C', and copy to my home machine, by
specifying /me@homemachine:xxx.

I tried this yesterday and it no longer works, although it used to
with ange-ftp. It's supposed to get the remote file, then transfer to
my home machine. Now it gets the remote file, says copying to home
machine, but doesn't do anything. The home machine gets a zero-length
file.

If I copy the remote file to /tmp on my work machine, then 'C' to copy
the local copy to the home machine it works. So it seems clear the
problem is with efs.
