Linux 2.0.29, libc 5.4.23, XFree86 3.2, gcc 2.7.2.1

Built without problems.

Has anybody built Wnn 4.2 on Linux? It seems to me that the Makefiles
need some differnt make and shell than my GNU make and bash.
