Yup.  I built the 20.0 distribution with Linux/ELF 2.0.28, libc-5.4.17,
XFree86-3.2, and GCC-2.7.2-no-srbug.  XEmacs v20 has worked better for
me than 19.14 did.  (I've since upgraded to kernel 2.0.29 and
libc-5.4.22, such is Linux :-).

It should be about the same.

When reporting Linux problems, be sure to include as many different
version numbers of software that you can (RedHat x.y or Slackware '96
does *not* count).  No two Linux systems appear to be exactly the
same.
