I'm not sure I get the same behaviour:

After the first two searches, when typing C-s I get

I-search:

pressing M-p gives me

Search:

nothing else.

Now, when I proceed with multiple M-p I get older searches I did until
I make my way through to `something' and then 'two'. Is that what you
get also?

In other words, previous and next is not relative to the last search I
do but, hmmh, maybe to the first?

Adrian
