Subject: TeX mode colorizing problem

In XEmacs 20.0 (under Linux 2.0.27 and Solaris 2.5.1), when given the \% code
to produce the "%" symbol, XEmacs seems to think that the % of the \% is the
beginning of a comment and colorizes the rest of the line accordingly. I
haven't the time at the moment to look into the code to correct this problem,
but if anybody does, it would certainly be an added feature if XEmacs did not
behave this way. Thanks for your time...
