Yes... It occured to me too. Merging changes from the `upstream'
 version will be more difficult...

That's the color I found it with. We really need to shanghai some
poor zippy and make him sit all day setting up pretty colors to
default all the modes to for every device under the Linux. But one
with a good sense of color, mind you.

I miss having a pixmap `stipple' ((misnomer? 'stipple) 'pixmap) ==>
#<YTMAWBN>[1]. I'd like it if the background color got honored...
Uhhm, since the pixmap format has symbolic color names, then cannot
the 'background color of the backing pixmap be melted and clashed
 with the <flash>text colors</flash>?

sb> Should we make this the default perl mode? What has to be

Yes. (vote '(1 . 'karlheg)) I've already done that. I wonder if
anyone would even miss it if you archived it? Le-olde'TeX too.

    sb> Footnotes: [1] I don't think anything could do that. :-(

I wish some knows-how-to would please (with no sugar and an extra
soft toothbrush, big smile) go and just drop the good parts of the
perl regexp engine (LE-purr) into XEmacs. I promise to learn to use
it fruitfully and for a reasonable fee.

It will go well with the prefabled mmap()'d, optimal, and tail
recursing byte code that I need to get around to learning more about
than buzzwords, when I've finally gotten through more than two
 chapters of SICP.

 "^Foo.*:"?

Footnotes:
[1] It's really a backing pixmap, not a stipple, right? Isn't
`stipple' the term used for what's done to grey-out a menu entry?
