I'll retire as maintainer for Custom as soon as Emacs 20.0 is
released.  I suggest you then let the XEmacs version diverge from the
Emacs version, and make the user interface decisions that are best for
XEmacs.  Customization is really too central a part of emacs for it to
make sense for an independent third party to maintain a common code
base.  Besides, it bores me.
